It’s My Birthday!
Today, I’m overwhelmed with joy and grateful to God for preserving my life, my heart and my soul.Jesus knows me best and knows the ins and outs of my life. He knows where He’s taking me and where He has brought me from. I give God all the glory.
I’ve been submerged in love on my good days and on my bad days.
I’ve sinned time and time again, yet, all I receive is love and forgiveness.
Over the past year, God has elevated me so much and expedited this growth process lol.
I could go on and on about the goodness of God but with my mortal mouth (and typing fingers) I can never thank my Abba enough!
My redeemer truly lives.
My redeemer loves.
My redeemer has set me free!!!
Therefore, I will live, I will love, I will forgive, and I will grow.
Can I get a resounding Hallelujah for the King of Kings???
You know His name.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Baddest trio ever liveth.
Happy Birthday Simbi and Thank you Lord for blessing me with another year. I’m expectant for what is to come. Lord, you know I’m ready. Let’s do this?❤️
Dear God, “Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions.”
Psalms 119:18 NLT
Don’t give up on yourself. Hold on tight. He has a plan. And it ain’t just any plan. Cry if you need to, laugh because it’s good to, but hold on. God has you right in his palm. Your testimony and joy is around the corner. If only you’d cling to the cross and make the Lord your refuge.
“If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!”Psalms 91:9-13 NLT
It says if you make the Lord your refuge. Not if you claim to be a Christian. Not if you pray 8 times a day. But if you truly depend on God and make him your refuge.
Google defines refuge as: a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble.
something providing shelter.
We need shelter! It’s one of the needs vs. wants we learned in 3rd grade or so. You are sheltered day in and day out because you need it. We need Jesus too. As we maintain our earthly houses, we should also maintain our relationship with Jesus 7x over!
“Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.”
Psalms 55:22 NLT
“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.”
