Sim Spiritually Inspired

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. – Colossians 1:6

Yes, we’re still smiling for Sedo.

This is a long one.. please stay with me till the end.

There’s so much weighing heavily on my heart.
It’s extremely heavy. Let’s get to it!
I pray that God will help me articulate my thoughts. May my thoughts flow to and through my fingers succinctly so that y’all can understand.

Hear me out.

July. The Test.
July 2016 was one for the books. #Top5Top5Top5…

God is calling out to young people; (or as Samuel said – pleading) that we’d turn back to Him. It’s crazy how God works… His ways are clearly not our ways and we literally do not understand.
However, what I do know is that prayer works.

Backstory for those that don’t know what’s been going on: Our dear angel, Emmanuel (Sedo), went back to our Father in heaven some 2/3 weeks ago.
He literally sacrificed his life to save his brother.
Now, we’re beginning to understand that he was the ultimate sacrifice for his friends, family and loved ones.

Ever since his rising; things have changed.

The atmosphere is different.
Everything has changed.
We’ve become better. Only by the grace of God

What the enemy though he could use to cause mourning, sadness and confusion; our faithful God stepped in and and was like “hol up hol up hol up”. God has turned the story around and we are beginning to understand- glory be to God.

On the day of Sedo’s burial, I remember telling my friends “I’m going to need help with this one”; I honestly felt like life was too confusing for us to comprehend and thought- why are we even here in the first place?

But God.. Hmm

This past Sunday (July 31st 2016), we celebrated Sedo’s life from 3-11pm.

We danced. We praised God. We prayed. In UNITY!

Listen, God used Sedo to bring us back together as a body of Christ. To open our eyes to HARD FACTS.

I’m trying so hard to help you guys understand me; but those of us living it and experiencing it right now know what I mean when I say UNITY.

Through death and life; Sedo’s life glorified and still glorifies God.

Can someone please tell where you’ve heard of or seen a 22 year old passing away.. Yet!! Over 300 young people join in on a prayer line every day for a whole week praying SERIOUS prayers and fighting real spiritual battles?

Young people all over, dropping everything and choosing to believe that prayer works.

Tell me of a time when a hall was filled with over 400 people honoring a young man’s life and saying thank you Jesus??

Nah please put me ON to an instance where the youngest brother of the 22 year old begins to prophecy, speak in tongues and allow God to speak CLEARLY through him? Even after the passing of his brother? Im talking about supernatural strength.

Guys.. Last Sunday was real and it only got better as time went on.

When I say, we danced.. I mean we danced for Sedo!

God is merciful.

Before this gets too long, here are my takeaways from Sunday and the past month:

Through Samuel’s prophecy on Sunday; I woke up. And I pray we’d all “stay woke.”

– God has reached a point where He is pleading that we would turn from our sinful ways and run back to him.

– Yes God’s grace is overwhelming and endless but at the same time he’s a jealous God and his wrath is real! We need to put serious respeck back on God’s name.

– God, in all His holiness, is warning us because he loves us THAT much.

Emmanuel’s love was sacrificial.

– Enough of the games. We can NOT remain the same way. We can NOT remain in sin. We can NOT allow the devil to keep on using us and killing us.

See, the devil doesn’t like you. He’s deceitful. Lies. Kills. Steals joy. And it’s not like he’ll pull up and say “oh can I steal your joy?”. He sneaks up on you and you wont even know it. STAY PRAYED UP!!!!

– God wants to use all of us. Samuel said God wants people to prophecy, speak in tongues, see visions.. We’ve become way too lukewarm.

This is the same message I’ve been hearing in various churches this past month. God is ready to pour out his spirit on our generation but we have to allow him to. We’ve been given a choice. Choose wisely before you leave this earth.

You can NOT have one foot in the world and the other “with God”.
You’re lying to yourself. It doesn’t work that way huntyyy.

Excuse my delivery, it’s a little rough but it’s so real and so necessary I’m not sure how else I can relay the message. Therefore, i’ll keep it raw.

Sunday was real. July 2016 was real. I’ll say it again.
We tapped into that strength. We tapped into God’s strength.
I’m not even worried because it is well with the Ojo family and friends.

Affliction has no room here because we’ve gotten a lot stronger.

Through life & death!! We still feel Emmanuel’s presence. We still feel God with us. And for those that may not understand; I pray that God will help you understand. I know He will.. Just ask.

Guys.. Gals..
Let’s get it together.
Prayer actually works.
Start there.

Pray that God will help us on this journey.
Pray for a stronger relationship with God.
Open your mouth and PRAY. In Jesus’ Name.

No one’s is perfect, and I’d be lying if I said I was – but we can do better.
Let’s continue to be here for one another.

Emmanuel did not sacrifice his life for us to keep playing games!!!!! He did NOT!

That’s all for now.

Be blessed friends❤️

But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! – Revelations 3:16

In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. – 1 Peter 5:10

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests,[a] a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. – 1 Peter 2:9

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. – 2 Corinthians 3:13
