This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. – Colossians 1:6

New Year, New Strategies, Same Mission #2017

New Year, New Strategies, Same Mission.

Where are all my mission-minded people??

Let me tell you; God KEPT me through 2016. I was the crazy-looking lady jumping up and down almost rolling on the floor during the New Year countdown at church because I really didn’t believe I’d make it through. But God, (that’s usually how it goes).

I’ve learned a number of things that are worth sharing, especially in relation to ministry/your calling/your mission and all that fun stuff:

PLAN.

Yes, God has placed this extremely dope vision in your heart that is eagerrrrrrr to be born. It’s crying out! But hey, you’ve gotta get ready. It would suck to give birth  and be completely unprepared. I pray that this year, you will bear fruit – but at just the right time. Get a planner, a journal, pick up a book and get to work.

SAY NO TO IGNORANCE

On that same note, there’s too much knowledge out in the world for you to remain in the dark and ignorant.

“my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.” – Hosea 4:6

May God not reject you in Jesus’ Name oooo!

Simple things: Incorporate some sort of method to the madness. One book a month? One sermon a week? Study one Bible chapter a week? These are a few things I’m picking up and I hope that you’d join me.

The worst thing would be for all your friends around you to be on their grind, making moves, climbing hurdles and you’re just there, scrolling on IG LOL. Sad story, but true story. You don’t want to grow up and become resentful saying “where did time go?” GURRLL, if you.. lol alright, sorry, it’s the passion talking.

LEARN THE WORD NO

Let me tell you; I HAVE STRUGGLED WITH THIS. Where are all my yes men and women? Some times, people like us have to slow down, take a step back, think through the offer (s) and sometimes decline respectfully. It’s ok!

PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN

I’m about to start a campaign or something because these phonessss!! SIS. #1 Distraction resting in the palm of our hands waiting for us to fall. Challenge yourself. Beyond that, challenge yourself to not backslide.

PROSPER

Trust and believe that you are more than a conqueror. Not by your power or your might but because of God that lives in you. The power of the Holy Spirit that’s working through you and transforming you daily. What do you want? How would you like to grow/improve? Make your request known unto God! That’s all boo. And put some action behind it. Trust me, you will succeed. You’re meant to.

So, press on champion. <3 Take time to reflect and make this new year a prosperous one.

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, – Philippians 3:13

For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. – Isaiah 43:19

Oh and enjoy this!
