Self – The Idol (Part 1) – ish
I admit, I’m selfish.
Acceptance is the first step right?
I’m too busy to think about you. I’m working on myself and my relationship with God.
Lord, have mercy.
I’m far too busy to build relationships or maintain friendships; I’m developing my character. 24 hours simply aren’t enough. Why is life so hard?

Selfish. Selfishness. Whatever you want to call it.
She clearly doesn’t care about us nor have time for us.
Now, don’t get me wrong. It’s crucial to work on Self and ensure Self is cared for and provided for. #VIP!

Don’t neglect those closest to you..
Manage your time.

Daddy, soften our hearts.
Skip the “shame” stage.
Hop right into repentance.
Well, not it’s not.. but it is. I mean, it will be. God’s grace abounds. We’ve just gotta accept it.. accept Him.
… even from our self-righteousness & selfishness.
So search your heart, just as I searched mine. You’ll be surprised what you might find.

leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God. – Matthew 5:24
For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven. – Ecclesiastes 3:1
Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. – Philippians 2:3-4
