Sim Spiritually Inspired

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. – Colossians 1:6

Convicted // #HumbleYourself – A Journal Entry

** a free flowing/barely edited journal entry//conversation with self **

Lord pour out your spirit.
Humble me..
Humble yourself?

The God of order.
Built, created, rested.

Merciful, forgiving.

I’m not God & therefore can’t and shouldn’t look down on anyone because of what they do or do not do.

Humble yourself.
Allow God to live and flow through you.

Unnecessary stress.

To the measure you judge, you also will be judged.

I know God, so, I’m better than you.
Obviously more righteous and blessed.
I mean, won’t you look at the grace of God all over me?
Humility even as you walk with Christ.
Humility comes before honor.
Humility requires vulnerability.
It’s when you actually let go of your self. Giving up “self” righteousness in exchange for the righteousness of God.

You’re in for a wicked surprise.
Who are you to point your finger at someone, forcefully trying to “lift them up” in the name of “I want to see you in Heaven with me”.
Hold up, who granted you a ticket, then the title of Ticketmaster?

Humble yourself.

At the club, complaining.
Why’d you go in the first place?
You know fully well that you’re not into that scene, yet, you went and ended up staring with your chin up taking notes of all that went wrong.
Why won’t you be disturbed?
You’re disturbing yourself.
… Humble yourself.
What makes you any better than the girl twerking on her head living her life.
“But, I know Jesus..”
Yes, you do my love, but even then hunny.. even then, you’re a work in progress.
You are not counted righteous because of what you do (or don’t do). Jesus is your righteousness. Let that sit, simmer, bubble then digest it because, you’re hungry for something. Why not eat what is true and pure?
Love, a little more.
Understand your boundaries, but don’t boast about them.

Know your boundaries, and stick to them with love and in humility.

Just as God forgives you, He also forgives your brothers and sisters.
You don’t have to walk back into sin. You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone. God sees your heart, so your Christian walk and righteousness aren’t impressive. You simply can’t impress the creator of the Heavens and the Earth with anything other than a heart after God. Even then, be careful of self-righteousness.

Unless your righteousness is better than.
Why look at a speck in your brother’s eye.

So give up the side eyes.
