Set Yourself Free
You know that God has set us free, right? He sent His only son to set us free, FROM EVERYTHING. The word of God confirms this truth. However, sometimes, we hold onto things that put us in bondage.
So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law. – Galatians 5:1
“I cant possibly confess to sister xyz that I’ve struggled with envy.”
“I was suicidal but I’m too embarrassed to share with my confidant who can actually support me”
“I struggle with masturbation – nope, won’t tell a trusted sister”
So much hurt, pain and unhealed wounds.
When will you set yourself free?
More so, when will you walk into the freedom that God has already given you?
Get on your KNEES! Be in a posture where you’re ready to HEAR from God. No music, just you and God. Let Him reveal to you what pain/secret needs to be released. It’s time to let go of fear so that God can change your situation.
when it’s revealed to you, ask God to show you how to walk through it. You’re not meant to carry the burden.
God wants to walk with you.
He will HEAL. He will DELIVER. It’s just who He is. It’s His nature.
There’s no shame, guilt, fear that’s too big for God.
The most awkward situations will bring healing.
Allow it yeah. Free it yeah?
You aren’t ordinary. You’re very different. I still believe that radical christians do radical things for radical breakthroughs. Get used to it.
It’s your turn to break through. Let God lead you and you allow light into the darkest parts of your life. Your secrets will not smother you anymore.
Declare: “I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.”
Psalms 119:45 NLT
For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all. – Luke 8:17
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. – Hebrews 12:17
