I Double Dare You…

I Dare You To Take Off Your Mask too… I’ve been trying to rock my mask and be the usual bubbly Simbi but I’d be a liar if I didn’t confess that these days have been awfully dark. I’m sure someone has noticed an underlying theme in my blog posts. Here’s a little insider: There’s been a supernatural shift in the atmosphere and as much as I could easily get

Love & Submission Ain’t A Thang

Love and Serve – action words. Time and time again, we see these themes in the bible. However, in the world we live in, the act of loving and serving have been greatly diminished and tainted. 1) Love Our world says: Love requires vulnerability and vulnerability equates to weakness. Therefore, don’t truly love.. Just love; on-the-surface kinda love. Our God says: Love Is the Greatest 1 If I could speak all

Be blessed and enjoy this VOTD!

So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. (‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭34‬ NLT)

Worried about all the WRONG THINGS

As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught. But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here

Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! (‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭14-16‬ NLT)

A lesson learned – Memorization

So a few days ago my brother and I found ourselves trying to memorize a bible verse: “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬ NLT)” Now in our effort, we learned a lot. First lesson: Education is important. “Mere” reading and writing skills apply to bible reading and understanding
