Unforgiveness will hold you back
You see,
Unforgiveness is a tricky thing.
Simple, yet complicated.
God wants us to forgive, but sometimes it’s “too hard” because that person really hurt you.
Yes, you’re angry and “will never forgive” him or her but you really need to.
God wants you to prosper, that’s why he says we should forgive.
He forgave us and continually does, so it’ll be really wrong for us to hold a grudge against someone and say we love God. The scripture says
“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets” (Matt 7:12)
You may think you’re holding someone by their neck by not forgiving them but you’re wrong.
Unforgiveness delays progress.
It stops you in your tracks!
It alters your mindset because you’re constantly thinking and reminding yourself that you do not want to forgive someone for something you probably forgot about.
Let’s be real..
It’s really unnecessary.
You don’t need that extra baggage.
Forgive,
Let the go!
For your own sake.
“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. (Matthew 7:12 NLT)”
